How to use Custom Views to easily Manage and Export Form Entries

There are times when you might just want to View or Export certain columns of data from your custom form e.g. you might just need to download a list of all the Names and Emails of the registrants. You can do this through setting up Custom Views for your Form Entries.

How to Create a Custom View for Form Entries

  1. Navigate to the Manage Entries area of the form (Dashboard > Edit Event > Registration and Forms > Select the form)
  2. Under Views click the Create View button
  3. This will open the Create View pop-up where you can customise what fields are shown within the entries table, for a particular view.
  4. Select from the drop down next to Open a Saved View to select a saved view to get you started, then enter a new name to Create a New View
  5. To setup this View use this area to ADD or REMOVE fields in view.

    To ADD a field to your view, left click to select any of the 'fields not in view', then click the right arrow  to add your field to the view.

    To REMOVE a field from your current view, left click to select any of the 'fields in view' and then remove the field from your current view by clicking the left  arrow

  6. Select a field from the 'fields in view' section and use the Order Fields arrows  to reorder the fields.
  7. Once done, click Save.
  8. Your new view will now appear in the 'View' drop down list, and once selected, the Table of Entries area will change to show only those selected columns.

How to Edit a Saved Custom View

  1. From the Manage Entries section, select the view you would like to edit from the Views drop down list, then click Edit View .
  2. Modify the fields in this view by adding, removing, or re-ordering the items in 'Field in View'
  3. Click Save to save the changes made to your view.

How to Delete a Saved Custom View

  1. From the Manage Entries section, select the view you would like to edit from the Views drop down list, then click Edit View .
  2. From the Edit View area click Delete  then confirm.
  3. You will be redirected to the Manage Entries area and the selected form view will no longer be available
