The Upload File feature is currently unavailable on Vision, however there are two alternative solutions:
- Use Online Storage to Upload and store your file
- Use the Charity Profile Description area to Upload a File to our servers
Once you have retrieved the URL to this file (wherever it has been stored), you can now add a hyperlink to Text or Image using this URL link as usual.
Use Online Storage to Upload and store your file
- Upload your file to an Online Storage website (e.g. DropBox, Google Drive etc).
- Ensure that the settings for this file/section are set to be accessible without logging in (unless otherwise required)
- Copy the URL link to this file
Use the Charity Profile Description area to Upload a File to our servers
- Access the Charity Profile section of GoFundraise Admin area
Scroll to the description field
Click the Link icon
- Click the Browse Server button
- Select the Files section from the left, then click Upload to upload your file to the server
- Double click on the file in this file storage area once it has been uploaded
- Copy the URL of this file from the Link Properties section. You can now apply this link to your Text or Image in EventCreator Vision
Do not click OK because you do not want to insert the file here, you just want the copy the URL
