The Event Date will determine whether an event is searchable on the GoFundraise Event search, and Fundraising opportunities section on a charity's cause page. An event will be searchable up to 3 months after the Event Date/Start Date.
- Starting on the Event Dashboard (
), locate the event you wish to edit and click Edit Event (see Edit an existing Event) - Go to Event Details and Settings (
) - Scroll to the Event Date. Select either a single date, or a date range.
Note: an event will be searchable on the GoFundraise Event Search up to 3 months after the Event Date/Start Date selected.
Tip: To launch an event live but keep it hidden from searches, backdate the event to over 3 months in the past. Allows you to test out all hyperlinks on the live site - Save changes
