How do I change the bank account details on my GoFundraise account?

In order to update the bank account details associated with your GoFundraise account you need to complete the Change of Bank Details form (click to download form)

It's important to make sure of the following;

  1. You are primary contact on the charity account, or authorised to request account changes
  2. Include 2 signatories on the form to authorise the change
  3. You include an acceptable form of Proof of Bank Account
    Proof of Bank Account must clearly display 4 elements: Bank Name, Account Name, BSB number, Bank Account number (transactional information can be blanked out)

Once you have completed the below document email it to support@gofundraise.com.au along with Proof of Bank Account.

Common forms of Proof of Bank Account

Bank Name, Account Name, BSB Number, and Account Number are commonly seen on the following:

  • Bank statements
  • Internet banking account screens
  • Deposit slips 
  • Cheques

A digital copy of any of the above is acceptable as long as it clearly displays 4 elements: Bank Name, Account Name, BSB number, Bank Account number (transactional information can be blanked out)

 

 

Please note we need to be advised of any change of bank account details at least 4 weeks in advance of any charity payment. This is to allow time for our verification process of the new details, as well as internal process from department to department and our fortnightly charity payment process.

If notification is received less than 4 weeks in advance of any charity payment, we are unable to guarantee that the change of details will be completed in time for the next charity payment deposit.
