Google Tag Manager is a free tool that makes it easy for marketers to add and update website tags -- including conversion tracking, site analytics, remarketing, and more—with just a few clicks, and without needing to edit your website code.
At the moment, a GoFundraise team member needs to add a Tag Manager code on your behalf. Once added, you will be able to manage your tags through Tag Manager. Please email through the your Tag Manager code and a link to your Event Site to email@example.com.
A Tag Manager code will look like this: GTM-MGJDXTV
We have whitelisted the following services to be used by your Tag Manager:
Google Analytics Tag, AdWords Conversion Tracking Tag, AdWords Remarketing Tag, Crazy Egg Tag, DoubleClick Floodlight Counter Tag, DoubleClick Floodlight Sales Tag, AdRoll Smart Pixel Tag
Why aren’t all services available / why can’t I add Custom HTML or Facebook codes through Tag Manager?
To ensure that functionality, compatibility and security of the GoFundraise platform continues to be at the highest level, only templated tag injections can be fired from your Tag Manager instance.
If you would like to add custom pixels or html (including Facebook tags), please send the information through to firstname.lastname@example.org and your account manager will be in touch as soon as possible.
